‘voidis' at ‘Ô’ Exhibition

VOIDIS investigates the liminal condition between presence and absence, materiality and dissolution. Conceived by Studio Trung Bao and realized in collaboration with Fustic.Studio, the work is rooted in the scanned form of a tree through photogrammetry and reconstituted through generative digital processes. It unfolds as a shifting spatial field in which organic matter is translated into data, fragments, light, and motion. The tree no longer appears as a fixed object, but as a dispersed and evolving entity suspended within an indeterminate environment.

At its core, VOIDIS considers the void not as emptiness or negation, but as an active conceptual and perceptual space. It is a site where form destabilizes, where memory detaches from physical structure, and where life persists through transformation rather than permanence. By allowing the organic body to disintegrate into a fluid digital ecology, the work reflects on how existence may continue beyond recognizable form, as trace, vibration, atmosphere, and latent becoming.
