PRAx 'Augmenting Voices' Exhibtion

Presented at PRAx at Oregon State University, Augmenting Voices: Voice Gems and Agentic Voicing Natures situated the voice as both archive and agency. The exhibition brought together Voice Gems — a long-term collaboration between Reeps100 and Trung Bao — with Agentic Voicing Natures, Harry Yeff’s parallel project with ElevenLabs, creating a wider reflection on how voice, AI, and sonic storytelling can reshape the way we understand identity, memory, and more-than-human presence. Within this framework, Voice Gems transformed individual voices into digital gemstones, positioning vocal expression as a rare and enduring artifact. Through their collaboration, Reeps100 and Trung Bao propose the voice not only as sound, but as sculpture, data, and emotional legacy — a medium through which human experience may be preserved, reimagined, and shared across time.
