Produced by Studio Trung Bao for the Closing Ceremony of Biennale Photo Hanoi ’25, this project brought together live performance, new media art, and cultural dialogue within a gathering of embassies, local cultural institutes, curators, international photographers and artists, UNESCO representatives, and the wider public. At the heart of the presentation was Trung Bao’s live performance of original works, including Bach Nghe Ha Thanh — a cross-generational collaboration with nghe si xam Mai Tuyet Hoa, based on an original composition by Nguyen Quang Long, co-founder of Xam Ha Thanh. Developed from archival photographs of Hanoi by Daniel Roussel, Gibert Bertrand, Lily Franey, and Jean-Charles Sarrazin, the visual work transformed the city’s memory into a living organism of image, rhythm, and atmosphere, creating a dialogue between contemporary creative technology and the cultural soul of Hanoi.
